Join us for a walk through Perth to discover William Soutar’s inspirations and celebrate the 127th anniversary of Soutar’s birth.

Iain Mackintosh and Elliott Boyle of the Friends of William Soutar Society will lead a leisurely walk around Perth city centre, with frequent rests to listen to individual poems and ask questions about Soutar’s life and work.

The walk, which is suitable for wheelchair users, takes around two hours. If the weather is unfriendly, a shorter walk is possible.

This event will conclude this year’s mini Soutar festival organised by Tippermuir Books and the Friends of William Soutar Society in collaboration with Culture Perth and Kinross.

Please note this event will start from outside the former Fergusson Gallery, at the junction of Tay St and Marshall Place.
