Join the AK Bell Library during the Summer reading challenge for a workshop on how to make your own sustainable sandwich wraps.

While the children are listening to stories about Bees and how important they are for the environment, take the opportunity and create your own unique sandwich wrap. You are encouraged to bring in a piece of fabric that holds precious memories but can no longer be used in its original purpose (like a baby blanket for example) and upcycle it with ethically resourced beeswax from local beekeepers.

Please note that the fabric needs to be either cotton or linen. If you do not have an appropriate piece of fabric, feel free to use on of our scraps from the Lend and Mend Library.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
