The highly popular annual exhibition presented by the Scottish Model Engineering Trust (a charity registered in Scotland No. SC 032308) is held over the weekend of 29th and 30th June at the Dewars Centre in Perth. Occupying two large halls, there will be 40 excellent model railway layouts on display from all over the UK, 35 quality trade stands, many special interest societies and modelling demonstrations.
The exhibition is the biggest club-run event in Scotland and always provides a good day out for the enthusiastic modeller or families. Included in the many high-quality exhibits we are pleased to present layouts with a local theme, namely “Blair Atholl Towards Drumochter” an excellent model of the climb towards the summit and “Bred Albin” which is a portrayal of a West Perthshire branch line station. Our aim is to promote the hobby so come along and be inspired!
The Model Railway Exhibition will be open to all visitors from 10am. Guests who purchase their tickets through Perthshire Box Office will be able to jump the queue and enter the exhibition from 9:30am. Book here to secure your early start!
