Proteins are fundamental to life - and to many of life's diseases. Cells have mechanisms to manufacture and dispose of proteins as necessary. In some cases disease-causing proteins cannot be addressed by conventional drugs. Targeted Protein Degradation stimulates the cell's own mechanisms to remove them.

Prof. Ciuilli FRSE, is an award-winning scientist currently based at Dundee University as Prof. of Chemical & Structural Biology. He studied at Cambridge & Yale Universities, and has founded Amphista Therapeutics, a biotech company developing protein degradation platforms.
